Father God,
Thank you so much for your love for us, and the countless blessings you have bestowed upon us. We know that you are all-powerful and faithful, and that we can trust you with anything and everything. We pray now that you would make your guiding hand known to us as we pray for ________ and {his/her} hospitalization, along with all of the accompanying feelings of concern, worry, and despair. We know that it is easy to become hopeless, despondent, and impatient when unfortunate things such as hospitalization and urgent health concerns occur. And when things don’t go as quickly or smoothly as we’d like, or when a situation turns out opposite of our hopes and intentions, we often get anxious and even angry with the situation, with the world, and even with you. When times of healing, patience, and waiting are needed, it is important for us to remember that you are in control and have our best plans already made. We ask you now to help make those plans known and lend your guiding hand over ________, {his/her} family, the medical staff, and all others involved in this situation. We also pray for the strength, resilience, and fortitude to be successful in maintaining a sense of peace during this time, keeping in mind that you do indeed have our plans established and will bring about the solution you see fit. We know that you will continue to provide guidance and direction in this path, and will continue to help us know and trust that we can be still and know that you are God and will bring about the best for us all in alignment with your good and perfect will and plan.
