Dear Lord,
Thank you so much for your love for us. We know that you are all-powerful and faithful, and that we can trust you with anything and everything. We pray now that you would make your guiding hand known as we pray for peace in our world. Lord, as you know, our modern world has fallen victim to so much pain, suffering, restlessness, war, and general unease. When we look at the events around the world, watch or read the seemingly-endless stream of bad news, and even directly face difficult situations, it is easy to become discouraged, depressed, hopeless, and angry. But this is not how you made us, and it is not how you made your creation. You created the earth to be a perfect paradise to contain your beautiful creation and mankind. But with sin entering the world, this plan was altered, leaving us with a world devastated by the schemes of the evil one. No matter what is happening in the world around us, it is important for us to remember that you are in control and have the best plans of us and our world already made. We ask you now to help make those plans known as we also pray for the strength, resilience, and a positive attitude so we can be successful in maintaining a sense of peace during this time. We know that you will continue to provide guidance and direction in this path, and that you will help bring about the best outcome for the world you created.
Thank you for being our perfect and gracious Father, for your promises to us, and for always completing the work you begin.
