Iron Sharpens Iron (Man to Man)

Heavenly Father,

You are a good Father and faithful in all you do, and there is no one like you. Today, we bring before you everything that is on our hearts and minds, and the things that are happening in our lives. We pray for one another and the camaraderie that we share, and ask that you help us to sharpen one another as it says in Proverbs 27:17. Help us to build one another up and be a source of comfort, strength, encouragement, confidence, and hope for one another as we navigate the challenges which we face. Whether it is in our professional lives, family lives as husband or father, or personal lives, help us to maintain a bond with one another as a “band of brothers” in the veritable trenches in which we find ourselves. We lay our burdens, cares, and concerns at Your feet, knowing that while we want to be sharp and strong for each other, we don’t have to do it on our own. Rather, we can lean on you and your perfect strength. Help us to stand on the truth that you are with us and never leave us or forsake us.

We thank you for all you have done for us and continue to do in our lives each and every day. We pray this all in Jesus’ holy name, Amen.
