Heavenly Father,
Thank you for this day and for the blessings you continue to pour out on us. We thank and praise you for being our good Father, and for the blessing you have provided to ________ as {he/she} has received this new job opportunity. You have created each of your children with unique gifts, talents, and a calling, all to help complete the body of Christ and to help our society function smoothly and fully. We thank you for the specific gifts and talents given to ________, and as {he/she} begins to think about and consider this new chapter of {his/her} career, we ask that you continue to bless and guide {him/her} in the discernment process. As this process happens, be with {him/her} to consider the full gamut of implications of the decision, including everyone in {his/her} family and the changes that will inevitably happen for each one, considerations of relocation and moving to a new {house/city/state/country}, and the myriad other nuances of such a lofty decision. Grant ________ the ability to stay focused on you and your Word and promises, and to seek you first and foremost in prayer and petition.
