The Lord is My Shepherd (Psalm 23)

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.”

{Pause, reflect, and thank God for His protection and provision in your life.}

“He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters.”

{Pause, reflect, and thank God for leading you and giving you rest.}

“He restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.”

{Pause, reflect, and thank God for giving you restoration and guidance.}

“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,

they comfort me.”

{Pause, reflect, and thank God for protection and comfort as you face the challenges of life.}

“You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies;
you anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.”

{Pause, reflect, and ask God to be with you at the table He prepares for you.}

“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”

{Pause, reflect, and praise God for His glory and the promise of eternal life.}
