Heavenly Father,
You are a good and faithful Father, and there is no one like you. We are in awe of your power and majesty, and desire to live our lives in a manner worthy of the calling you have placed on our lives. Today, we ask you to be with us, in our faith and assurance of you. As the fourth chapter of Acts covers the narrative of the early Church and believers praying for boldness, we ask you to do the same for us as we pray the words of Acts 4:29: Holy Spirit, enable me to pray your Word with boldness.
No matter who we encounter or the situation in which we find ourselves, empower us with your Spirit in remaining strong and bold in our belief and proclamation of you. Through our actions and words, help bring more people to know you and your perfect saving grace, ultimately becoming fully devoted followers of Christ and also emboldened to speak your Word.
We thank you for all you have done for us and continue to do in our lives each and every day. We pray this all in Jesus’ holy name, Amen.
