Heavenly Father,
Thank you for this day and all of the blessings you continue to provide to me. I know that you are all-powerful and faithful, and your Word is trustworthy, right, and true. I pray now that you would hear me in this request for focus. Grant me the wisdom to seek you first and find comfort and motivation in your power and goodness, and help me to take to heart what is written in Proverbs 4:25-27, that my eyes look directly forward and that I don’t swerve to the right or the left. Help me stay focused on you, and in so doing, stay focused on the tasks and challenges that lie before me. No matter how big or small the next step might be, grant that I always remember that you are with me every step of the way, and will show me each step one at a time as is appropriate, knowing and seeing your Word as a lamp to my feet and a light to my path (Psalm 119:105), keeping it at my core as I go about my days. Give me your peace that passes understanding to help me to know and always remember that by putting you at the center of my life, I will have everything needed to have the strength to live the life you have created me to live – a life centered on You and Your Word.
Thank you for being my perfect and gracious Father, for your promises, and for always completing the work you begin.
