Father God,
Thank you so much for your love for us, and the blessings you have given and continue to give to us. We know that you are all-powerful and faithful, and that we can trust you with anything and everything. We pray now that you would be with us as we pray for ________, following {his/her} {surgery/medical procedure}. Be with {him/her} as {he/she} recovers, calming any remaining feelings of concern, worry, and anxiety. Be also with ________ {name of caregiver/helper/family member} as {he/she} continues to help, serve, support, and comfort as the road of recovery continues.
You are Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord our Healer, and we thank you for the powerful work you have already done for ________, and know that you will continue to provide recovery and healing during this time, as well as guidance and direction for the future.
As we place our request in your hands, we pray the words of Scripture:
“O LORD my God, I cried to you for help, and you have healed me.”
