Father God,
Thank you so much for your love for us, and the blessings you have given and continue to give to us. We know that you are all-powerful and faithful, and that we can trust you with anything and everything. We pray now that you would be with us as we pray for ________ and {his/her} upcoming {surgery/medical procedure}. Be with {him/her}, calming any feelings of concern, worry, and anxiety. Be with ________ {name of caregiver/helper/family member} as {he/she} continues to help, serve, support, and comfort, and be with {him/her} in the times of waiting. Be with the medical staff, guiding their hands and minds as they put their training and skills to use in the attempt to bring healing and wholeness to the body.
You are Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord our Healer. We look to you for the strength needed in maintaining a sense of peace during this time, keeping in mind that you have our plans established and will work your will for the good of all. We know that you will continue to provide guidance and direction, and will continue to help us know and trust that we can be still and know that you are God.
